Doug's Recommendation on Manuals

With over 40 easily accessible rainwater guides and at well over 1,000 pages it is hard to know where to start. There are some very, very good rainwater manuals in the public domain. Below is a short list of the top of the top in my opinion.

Not eveyone could be in the top, and this list does not include rain catchment permitting guides of which there are quite a few as well.

Texas Manual - One of the Oldest and Most Comprehensive

Hawaii Manual - Covers Rainwater Contaminants and Quality

Arizona Manual - Good Passive Rainwater Manual

EPA Water Reuse Manual - General Description of Water Quality of Alternative Water Including Rainwater

Alaska Rainwater Components - Cold Weather Related Issues for Rainwater Harvesting

Gulf Islands Manual - Includes Treatment for Potable Water Use

Australia Rainwater Manual - One of the Most Comprehensive International Manuals

Ontario Rainwater Guidebook - One of the Newest and Best Manuals

Canadian Rainwater Manual - Favorite from northern friends.

If there is a missing rainwater guides from this list and you think it should be added, add a comment below on why with the link to the manual.
